Rocky's Inspiration
Rocky one of the greatest hits of all time. The greatest underdog story of our time. All six of the Rocky movies were  instant classics.  It tells a story about an underdog who came from nothing and became a boxing superstar. There is alot more to the story but that is the basic story which has alot to do with the original Rocky movie which won an academy award for best picture.
I believe the Rocky Anthology inspired the world of professional wrestling  because it had to do with working hard, believing in yourself, passion,love ,against all odds ect. Alot of what wrestling is about. Wrestling has even used this these themes in storylines. For example Rey Mysterio became World Heavyweight champion at Wrestlemania 22 in 2006. In the story line Rey was being called the underdog meaning least chance to suceed but he had the passion and believed he could do it. Kind of like the storyline in the Rocky movies. In reality Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest,most popular, hardest workers there is in the wrestling business. So with hard work, dedication,passion ,against all the odds ect. Rey Mysterio achieved his biggest accomplishment in his career when wwe decided to give him his time as the world heavyweight champion. Basically The themes to the  Rocky movies can and has been used in storylines but are mainly used in reality for a wrestler to suceed in the business. I believe for these reasons the Rocky Anthology has inspired the world of professional wrestling.
It can be said, that the Rocky Anthology not only influenced the world of professional wrestling, but inspires many of us in this journey we call life. With this in mind, the film Rocky has definetly left it's mark as one of the greatest movies of all time!
