The wwe chamionship has not changed hands on Wrestlemania since 05 (21)however, the world championship has changed hands every year since wrestlemania 20. So since Wrestlemania 22 the wwe title doesnt change hands and the world title does. Funny coincidence?

The hardcore championship has changed hands more times than any other championship in pro wrestling history. Passed two hundred.

The money in the bank briefcase has been cashed in twice at a ppv and twice on a television broadcast. The first two years on ppv and it was the wwe championship. The last two years was on raw and smackdown, both time the world title.

Did you know former wwe ppv "Vengeance" has never held a stable spot in the yearly ppv calendar. Vengeance first started in december 01. The next year the ppv would be held in July. For the next few years the ppv was on and off from June and July. Just recently June's ppv Vengeance was taken over by the new June ppv name "Night of champions." Vengeance is the only wwe ppv that has never held a stable spot.

Chris Jericho has set the record 8 time intercontinetal champion.

The rock was the first man to win the wwe championship 7 times.

After the 2008 draft lottery historic changes took place such as, for the second time in wwe history two world champions were drafted. The first time being the world and wwe championships. This time being the wwe championship and ecw titles. It is also the second year in a row that the ecw champion was drafted to raw. The united states championship is officially apart of the ecw roster for the first time.

Al Snow's manican head was originally used for designing mankind's mask.

For the first time in wrestlemania history other than the first three wrestlemania shows, the wwe championship has not changed hands.

For the last three wrestlemania events, the main event/final match has ended by submission.

For the first time in wwe history 2 superstars have won the Royal Rumble with the same # two years in a row.That being the #30 John Cena & The Undertaker.

TNA wrestling had a personal ring set up for Pacman Jones for his training to wrestle.

John Cena is the longest reigning wwe champion in nearly 2 decades. Beating superstars records such as Ultimate Warrior,Hbk & Bret Hart!

  The Samoan Bulldozer Umaga was in wwe before his character debuted a little over a year ago. It was back in 03. At the time he was known as Jamal joining former wwe superstar Rosie in "3 minute warning."

Before Paul Bearer, Brother Love was the original manager for The Undertaker for a little while starting when he debuted at Survivor Series 1990.

This year's Wrestlemania was quite the coincidence for "The Battle of the billionaires" becuase the last time Donald Trump appeared at a Wrestlemania was 3 years ago, at Wrestlemania 20. He was in attendance and at one point interviewed by Jesse "the body" Ventura.
Also it was the first and only Wrestlemania that a hair vs hair match took place. It was between Molly Holly and Victoria for the wwe women's championship. So it is a funny coincidence or just a good fact .

Wrestlemania 19 marked the first Wrestlemania to have two world championship matches because of the brand split from the beginning of the previous year. Also it was the first Wrestlemania to go under the new name WWE. Since they lost the right to WWF not long before.

When Batista first started with wwe he was working along side Devon Dudley a.k.a Brother Devon but at the time was known as Reverand D-Von . Batista's name at the time was Deacon Batista. He served as the reverand's bodyguard.

Gregory Helms is the longest reigning cruiserweight champion in history & is also the longest reigning champion in smackdown history beating out the record formely held by Jbl.

On January 28th 07 The Undertaker became the first man to win the Royal Rumble drawing the best number for the match. # 30. Throughout the 20 years of history for this match & event this was the first time a superstar won the royal rumble with the best and most wanted number to have for this match.

At the 05 & 06 Royal Rumble events there were backstage segments where the two superstars in the room getting there numbers for the Royal Rumble match drew the best and worst numbers for the royal rumble match. Obviously not a coincidence. 05 - Eddie Guerrero & Flair. 06- HHH and Randy Orton.

 Booker t was actually the first person to ever break the masterlock. It was never officially announced as that or  even planned because the whole ‘masterlock challenge” and gimmick about no one being able to break it really only got into affect after that time. It happened on wrestlemania 21 in the special battle royal as  seen on the dvd.

 

Raven is the only superstar in history to ever have an action figure for every major wrestling companuy. ECW,WCW,TNA AND WWE.

 

The royal rumble theme match first started in 1988 on Usa. It was not a ppv event. Also the whole winner gets a title shot at wrestlemania did not really start until 1993.
